Tips for better photos

A processed file only looks like a scan. Use it only for your own documents or ones you are authorized to handle, and never to forge certificates or deceive anyone.

Four effects

Photocopy

High contrast and heavy toner, with the streaks and specks a copier leaves.

Printed & scanned

A laser print run through a scanner: grayscale with lighter marks.

Old paper, color

A color scan of yellowed paper with folds and uneven light.

Black & white

Pure black and white, like a fax or a B&W scanner.

Each effect has a strength slider, and More settings lets you fine-tune over twenty details such as toner, paper, tilt and noise. Texture positions are random every time; click Shuffle texture to get a new variation.
